Soprano ViIANCA ALEJANDRA was
a First Place
Winner in the
Puerto Rico Distract Metropolitan Opera
Competition. In July she sang Norina in Don
Pasquale at Festival of the
Agean in Greece. On June 7 she returned to
Carnegie Hall for performances
of Mozart's Regina coeli K.276 and the Bach
Magnifical with Mid-America at Carnegie Hall.
She will also perform in Stockholm Sweden and Berlin and then be
Rosina in Rossini's Il Barbiere di Siviglia at
the International Festival of the Aegean in Greece on Ju;ly 19-21.

Baritone JUNHAN CHOI performed Fiorth Stone
in Eurydice with Boston Lyric Opera.
Following this was a gala concert with Cambridge
Chamber Ensemble. On Jan. 26 he performed
Frate in Verdi's Don Carlo with the
Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra. On March 3, 7 and 8
he sang 3 songs in Ryussian which are a part of Shostakovich's
Michelangelo Cycle with the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra
at the Sanders Theatre in Boston. On July 15 and 16
he will perform Belcoe in L'Elise d'amore with the Bar
Harbor Music Festival in Maine.

third opera based
on Thurst
is based on the historical novel
by Mary Donnarumma Sharnick. He
just finished writing the music for
a PBS mini-series
Stars on Stage.

Rutgers University Orchestra
did a reading of his
new symphony. PBS channel

Symphony Orchestra in NJ. Gerard did arrangements
and orchestrations for "Broadway Scores" a a concert with the Waterbury
Symphony Orchestra in Connecticut on May 17.
Soprano
SARAH JOYCE COOPER made her
debut with the Seattle Opera as Minnie Tate in
Jubilee a n opera by Tazwell Thompson. She also
performed Violetta in Verdi's La Traviata
with Opera Western Reserve. Following
thiswas an Italian concert with the Harvard Radcliff Choir at
the Sanders Theatre in Boston. On Dec.12 she sang a GALA for the
Bar Harbor Music Festival at
the Cosmopolitan Club in NYC.
On Jan. 26 she performedTebaldo in Verdi's

On MArch 1 she performed
Ann Hutchinson in James Kallembach's American Jezebel
at the Sanders Theatre in conjunction with
Harvard University in Boston. This was a world
premiere which was live streamed. On April 26 Sarah performs a Italian
Opera Concert with the Eastern Connecticut
Symphony Orchestra to celebrate Toshi Shimada's 15th season
with the orchestra. Sarah returned to Carnegie Hall sining the
Mozart Requiem and Vesperae
solemnes de confessore on May 24 with Mid-America Productions.
On July 15 and 16 she will return to the Bar
Harbor Music Festival as Adina in L'Elise
d'amore..
We welcome KAHLI DALBOW to our roster. She
performed Georgetta in Il Tabarro with Boulder
Opera on Feb. 7-9. In July and in August she
performs the title role of Ariadne in Ariadne auf Naxos at the
Trentino Music Fesival in Italy.

productions for performances of the Vivaldi Magnificant
and the Monteverdi Magnificat.

with Regina Opera.. He also performed

the Newhouse Center on Staten Island
NY.. He performed in concerts and

and returned as Beppe in I Pagliacci.He
performed as tenor soloist in Beethoven's 9th Symohony with
the New Britian Symphony. On April 6 he returned
to Carnegie Hall and Mid-America Productions
as a soloist in Monteverdi Magnificat. This Summer hye will
be Tamino in Magic Flute with Chicago Summer Opera.

with Ft. Collins Opera March 7 and 8.
On July 24-26 she performs Micaela in Bizet's Carmen with
the Equadorian Symphony in Quita Equador. She performs Opera
in the Park "Be;;a Voce" with Boulder Opera on August 2 and
3.
Soprano SUZAN HANSON
has redirected her career to being
a director
and singer. She returned to
Utah Festival Opera
directing Wagner's Lohengrin this
past Summert. She is very busy in the LA area teaching
voice and directing opera productions.

contract with the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra.

Street Music School in NYC, and the
Western Connecticut Youth Orchestra.
In addition he is on the faculy of the
Charles Ives Music Festival. He
began his reign as Music Director with the Ridgefield Symphony
Orchestra on Feb. 8. On May 17 he lked a performance with the Ridgefield
Symphony to celebrate the 50th aniversary of the orchestra. On May
23 led a performance with Judy Collins at the Ridgefield Playhouse.
On July 15 and 16 makes his debut as Music Director and conductor
of L'Elise d'amore with the Bar Harbor
Music Festival in Maine.

for Earth. He performed Michele in

Regina Opera in Brooklyn. On May 15 through August
7 he performed Telramund in Wagner's
Lohengrin as well as Dr. Gibbs in
Our Town at
Utah
Festival Opera.
He returned to Regina
Opera in Brooklyn for performances of
Rigoletto in Nov 11 and 17. He lives
in NYC and Asia. Brian will sing at Opera in the Ozarks as
a part of the 75th Gala Event
on May 31st. Brian returns to Carnegie Hall
and sang the Mozart Requiem
and Vesperae solemnes de confessore on
June 7 with Mid-America Productions.

MARTINA PORTYCHOVA was pleased

received her MMusic in vocal performance from
the University of Arizona
and is currently finishing
her DMA. She was also on the Administrative

Song Festival. On March 23-25 she performed
new composer works at the U. of Arizona
followed by the title role in Peter Brook's
Carmen. She continues to finish
her degree in the Fall. On March 23 she sang Beethoven's
9th Symphony with the New Britain

Mezza-soprano OLA RAFALO returned to Sotto Voce
Vocal Collective
in Buffalo for her first Princuipessa in Suor Angelica.
She spends much of the season at Chicago Lyric
Opera in various productions including Aida..She also
performed Mahler's Symphony

Last season she covered Hrtenso in the Listeners by Mazzoli at Lyric

she performs in a children's concert with the Dayton Philharmonic.On
April 28 Isabel begian her Summer with Opera
Theatre of St. Louis. She is covering zoe Walker in This
House by Ricky Ian Gordon. Isabel also performed "Our Songs"

He also sang Bennett's arrangement of Porgy
and Bess with the Orchestra of the Southern Finger
Lakes. He returned to Carnegie Hall
for a concert with Mid-America

the recording of The Year of the Jubilee.

with the Buffalo Philharmonic. He was a voice on "Little Emma"
an animated film in LA. On May 15-20 he returns to Opera de Montreal
as Benoit/Alcindoro in La Boheme.
ROCKY E. SELLERS made his debut
with New York City Opera as bass soloist
in a Christmas Concert at Bryant Park in NYC.
On Nov 1 he sang with the Rochester Choral Society in
Glenn McClure's "Promised Land"and repeaated
it at Geneseo College. This season hewas in
Tosca and Moby Dick at the
Metropolitan Opera. Rocky makes his debut at Carnegie

a well established Maestro.. He is

brough's Freedom Song. On October 6 she performed
in a Gala for On Site Opera
in NYC at the Edison Ballroom. On Dec
12-15 she sings Messiah with
the Handel Choir of Baltimore. On Jan 1 Melissa sings
a New Year's Gala with Bach in Baltimore
and returns to sing the
St. John Passion on April 6.
