| Nissim
Saal’s repertoire extends beyond traditional cantorial music, embracing a
diverse range of styles, including operatic, symphonic, classical, and Broadway.
His unique beautiful tenor voice has an exceptionally fluent high extension
and flexibility, which has captivated audiences worldwide. Important performances include appearances at the Israeli Opera House, and Jerusalem Theater, as well as concert halls and community centers in the NYC area. Mr. Saal has also been vocal soloist Viva Moments Cruise Lines on river cruises in Germany. International tours as soloist include Australia, Poland, Amsterdam, London, and Budapest. Memorable engagements include as soloist for the United Nations at a Holocaust Memorial Ceremony, and was guest artist at a Mar-a-lago. Nissim was raised in Monroe NY, and then Brooklyn with parents of Argentinian Jewish heritage. He was exposed to opera and classical music at an early age as his mother’s family who were musicians and actors. His deep faith led him to become a Cantor, now internationally sought after. Working in Synagogues worldwide, Nissim Saal is resident cantor at the Yeshurun Central Synagogue in Jerusalem. He speaks English, Spanish, Yiddish, Hebrew and medium French and Italian.
